Everyone,
We are nearing the end of our first month
of operation, and things are going great! We
have now successfully detoxed patients from
prescription pain medicines, other opiates,
alcohol, benzodiazepines, anti-depressants, and
anti-psychotics.
We are gratified that we have received so
many rave success stories from our patients who
have regained control of their lives. This week,

At Novus, our goal is to help people
realize their dreams of being themselves again and
not dulled by unneeded prescription medicines,
drugs or alcohol.
Some of our patients are detoxing from
prescription drugs that require a safe, medical
environment and, when their detox is complete,
they can return to their lives feeling better and
able to think more clearly.
These patients ask for assistance in
locating medical practitioners in their area who
will treat the "cause" of any medical problems
that they have and not simply prescribe a pill for
the symptom. Our
goal is to help people understand that there are
often non-drug solutions and that the use of drugs
should be a last resort and not the first
option.
Other patients have a serious addiction
problem that is ruining their lives and the lives
of the people they love. Once they
start to come of the fog their drug/alcohol
addiction was creating, they are eager to
understand what they have to do to prevent ever
slipping back into the "hell" of addiction. Our
Medical and Clinical staff are committed to
assisting our patients determine their next step,
and to help them make the
necessary arrangements so that they successfully complete their
goal-total elimination of their drug/alcohol
addiction.
Regardless of the reason that they
are detoxing, we work to help our patients
accomplish their goals and we are both delighted
with and very proud of our results.
