Novus is helping people safely and sanely detox from drugs and alcohol every day!

Based on the comments from our patients, Novus has created the ideal environment for people detoxing from drugs and alcohol. One of our  patients was released at 4:00 pm on Saturday but arranged to be picked up after dinner because "he loves the food."

Our first patients have proven to us that if someone has decided to detox at Novus, they will find a way to pay for it because it is never the money but the decision that is important.

We have arranged financing packages that have allowed a young single mother, with her grandmother as the co-signor, to obtain a loan for the funds needed to pay for her stay at Novus and also pay for part of the costs for her stay at Narconon Florida, a drug rehabilitation facility.

Our patients are responding better than even we anticipated. The combination of a stress-free environment, our medical and nutritional handlings and our assists are resulting in people completing their detox programs faster than normal.

No one has to stay on unwanted or unneeded drugs any more. If you know someone who needs our services, please give us a call today!

Hi Everyone,

Things are going very well at Novus after our first two weeks of service.  We have had patients from all over the country, and they have been very pleased that they made the trip!

Below, you will have a chance to read what a couple of them had to say about their detox program at Novus.

A. "The assists are a great exercise that is really needed during detox.

It was the first step to recovery and they helped and assisted with my second and third step by helping me find Narconon and to get

into the Narconon Program immediately after Novus.

I also realized how strong of a person I can be, and how much of my life I let pass not really being in touch with what is truly going on, and how I have in a way missed the first 16 months of my daughters life because of my drug habit and how it mentally and physically took a toll on my mind and body, and thanks to Novus I have realized it and began to solve it.

It was a nice little vacation to get back to reality."

Q.  To help us better serve our incoming patients, would you please provide us with any comments that you would care to make about your stay at Novus.

A.  "The living accommodations were very extremely comfortable and amenable. Patient's rights were completely respected. Privacy was also respected. The food served was excellent, and the meals were healthy and served in a timely manner.

The nursing staff was both friendly and very professional. They made sure all necessary meds were distributed and shots and vital signs were done as needed.

The counselors were all extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. More than anyone, they helped make the stay here as pleasant as possible.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay here and feel it will help improve me as a person in a number of ways beyond just overcoming my addiction. I would definitely recommend to others who need help."

Q.  Were there any Novus personnel that you would like to acknowledge for the help that they gave you? If so, please list them below.

A.  "JJ Bush took time personally to issue assists, work out with me, and just talk.  Made the stay pleasant.

Ty always offering help and asking me how I felt. Showed genuine concern.

Kara went out of her way to show friendliness and offer help."

Q.  Please write any wins, realizations or decisions that you have experienced or made while at Novus.

A. " Physical- When I came in I hadn't run or worked out for at least 6 to 8 months.

Through the combination of counseling and available facilities, I was able to begin both again. This has resulted in a 100% turnaround in my outlook on myself physically.

Now I plan to carry these activities back into my daily routine. This will make me stronger both physically and mentally.

Mental- When I came here I was extremely lethargic and willing to settle for less than I was capable, pretty much for everything in my life. While here, I was able to constructively use my time to look for jobs on the internet and set up interviews over the phone, while at the same time going through my treatment. I look to

take this more ambitious attitude out with me in my future endeavors. A positive approach leads to positive results, I learned that in my stay at Novus.

Psychological- When I came here I had great trouble sleeping fitfully (alcohol related of course). Now after only being clean for a few days I can already see and feel the difference. I sleep much more soundly, have much more energy, and have a more positive outlook on life.

Philosophical- I now believe alcohol served no good purpose in my life ultimately, and now can only do me harm. I have come to realize there are many other positive, healthy alternatives out there."
