Greetings!

Novus Medical Detox Center of Pasco County, LLC is scheduled to open in January, 2007! Located 45 minutes from the Tampa International airport, our facility will assist people to safely withdraw from prescription drugs. Because prescription drug use is so pervasive in this country, many people who want Scientology auditing services are on these drugs and now there are few, if any, sane medical facilities that can withdraw them. In addition, Narconon facilities are seeing reaches from people who are on illegal street drugs and psychotropic drugs from which they have to be medically withdrawn, which Narconon is not equipped to do. Finally, there are many other people who are becoming aware of the real dangers of these prescription drugs and we are here to help them safely withdraw.

 Construction Progress

The building is just under 5,000 square feet, and sits on 3.2 acres of land in a quiet residential area. The building is a former assisted-living facility and we are completely remodeling inside. To date, we have gutted the interior, done some landscape work, and are now beginning the remodel. The photo you see here is a shot of the interior during demolition. We will continue to send photos of our progress.

 The Finished Product

Upon completion of the remodeling, our facility will be an ideal place to detox. The combination of a 24/7 medical staff and private rooms with private or semi- private baths, flat panel tv's, wireless high-speed internet, and private phone lines make Novus a great alternative to a noisy hospital. At Novus, our patients can maintain their day-to-day business and personal affairs. In addition to the beautiful grounds and facility amenities, Novus will be staffed with highly trained, friendly professionals whose only focus is to get the person through their detox as quickly and comfortably as possible.

 We Have To Help!

According to a federal study in today's issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association, adverse reactions to prescription drugs are responsible for 700,000 Americans' visits to emergency rooms every year. The report was put together by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the FDA and the Consumer Product Safety Commission, and included data collected in 2004 and 2005 from 63 hospitals in the United States.

We are available to help people now with advice and the scheduling of their arrival for the first week in January. Please feel free to give our contact information to anyone who needs it.

Sincerely,
